About

Live jams recorded directly to DAW, then subjected to additional finagling and wangling.  No hard rules for the creative process—only that intuition be allowed to usher organic musical ideation.

Thematically, Natural Phenomena presents a double entendre; from an abstract perspective, it is a series of sketches representing a deep appreciation for the splendor of the natural world.

A more practical viewpoint outlines the ethos of my creative process throughout this project: a nuanced dialog between me and my hardware instruments—working within the limitations and using my instincts to allow the tracks to take shape organically.

There are lots performative elements to enjoy; there’s movement, drama, and plenty of aural accoutrements to warrant repeat listens.

Natural Phenomena is available on Bandcamp and all streaming platforms. Donations are very much appreciated and paid forward to the Humane Society of Northwest Louisiana.

    • Leap over the fence and enjoy a care-free frolic in the airy, open meadow.

    • I really wanted a 16-bar verse after the bridge. In lieu of raps, D. Deka laced this one with some hot lines of code.

  • 004 - “Chordata” (DÄDBÖD Remix)

    • Helmut Rundkopf & X Benedict- ‘nuff said! They hooked this up.

    • LaBouche was full of food, so Robin S sent D-Mob to find the Black Box. LaTour wasn’t needed; it wasn’t on MARRS covered in Stardust, nor was it near the Crystal Waters.  They searched all over the Inner City until Snap! It was found at the Music Factory among some Technotronic Nightcrawlers. AB Logic determined that this time it was the Real McCoy.
